SADIE WILKERSON
SCOTT CITY -- Sadie Marie Wilkerson, 91, of Scott City died Tuesday, April 14, 1998, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Services in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 26, 1906, in Delia County, Texas, daughter of Almond E. and Zuma Wood Hillis. She married William Bryan Wilkerson Feb. 11, 1926, in Waco, Texas. She was born Oct. 26, 1906, in Delia County, Texas, daughter of Almond E. and Zuma Wood Hillis. She married William Bryan Wilkerson Feb. 11, 1926, in Waco, Texas. He died June 25, 1974.
Wilkerson was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, charter member of Scott City Park Board, and helped organize Hawthorne Garden Club.

Survivors include a son, Paul Wilkerson of Scott City; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
