FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Sandra Galemore Williams, 77, formerly of Charleston and Columbia, Missouri, died unexpectedly yet peacefully with her family by her side Sunday March 27, 2022, at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers. She was taken far too soon.

Sandra was born May 19, 1944, in Charleston to the late Lawrence Eugene "L.E." and Helen Marie Roach Galemore. Following her graduation from Charleston High School in 1962, she attended cosmetology school in Cape Girardeau.

In 1964 she married the love of her life, Dr. Fred Williams, who she had known since the first grade. They made their home and raised their children in Columbia and enjoyed being snowbirds to Panama City, Florida, for many years. Later, they became official Florida residents and moved to Fort Myers.

Sandra loved to golf, play blackjack and craps, hang out with her friends, and especially spend time with her family. She was affectionately known as Ona to her grandchildren, who she adored. Sandra had an infectious personality and was the life of every party. She was loved by all and will be incredibly missed.
