EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Scott Fredrick Slaughter, 28, of East Prairie died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at his home.
He was born June 27, 1973, in Sikeston, son of Richard Page and Lee DeField Slaughter. He and Shonna Marshall were married Oct. 5, 1996.
Slaughter was a welder with Schueck Steel Co. in Blytheville, Ark. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Charleston, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; mother and stepfather, Lee and Sid Fraley of Sikeston; two brothers, Richard "Ricky" Slaughter of Orlando, Fla., Zachary Fraley of Sikeston; maternal grandparents, Fred and Dorothy DeField of Charleston; and stepgrandfather, R.E. Fraley of Matthews, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepgrandmother.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Jon Archie and Ed Hankinson will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
