MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Sebert V. Williams, 84, of Marble Hill departed this life Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 29, 1926, in Patton, Mo., son of Julius A. and Lou Vecy Barks Williams. He and Wilma Devenport were married Feb. 11, 1950.

Williams was a truck driver with Shell Feed and Supply, Jim Wilson Trucking, and was a farmer with a Missouri Century Farm. He was a member of Happy Old People in Patton and Marble Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Williams of Marble Hill; a daughter, Judy (Leonard) Fulbright of Marble Hill; and a grandson, Shane Williams Fulbright.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Hope A. Williams.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Gerald Cowan officiating. Interment will be in Patton Cemetery at Patton.
