BELL CITY, Mo. -- Sharon Swindell Eakin Brockmeyer, 59, of Bell City, Mo., passed away Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo.
She was born Aug. 9, 1947, at Sikeston, Mo., daughter of Lester and Wanda Fischer Swindell.
Sharon received a teaching degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's degree from Wiliam Woods University. She was a third-grade teacher at Scott City Elementary School.
Survivors include her mother, Wanda Ponce of Bell City, Mo.; a son, Nick Brockmeyer of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, Courtney Brockmeyer of St. Charles, Mo.; two brothers, David Swindell of Boonville, Ind., and Keith Swindell of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; and a grandson, Cole Brockmeyer.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo., from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at noon Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Swindell will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, Mo.
