PERRYVILLE -- Siegmund Alfred Vogel, 83, of Perryville died July 14, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 13, 1912, in Perry County to John and Martha Hopfer Vogel. On April 29, 1945, he married Olida Katt.

Vogel was a farmer. He served on the PCA Advisory Board, Extension Council Advisory Board and MFA Advisory Board. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janet Vogel of St. Louis; four brothers, Edgar and Milton Vogel of Perryville, Albert Vogel of Longmont, Colo., and Herbert Vogel of Washington, Mo.; and a sister, Nora Brandes of Uniontown.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Revs. Donald Loesch and Jeffrey Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
