SWEETIE WALLACE

PUXICO -- Sweetie M. Wallace, 88, of Puxico died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born March 20, 1910, at Ash Hill, daughter of Francis E. and Rosie Jane Crawford Miller. She and Robert L. Wallace were married Oct. 30, 1926, in Corning, Ark. He died Dec. 14, 1979.

Wallace was formerly of Broseley and Poplar Bluff, and had lived in the Puxico area since 1950. She was a member of Puxico Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Bobby Wallace of Puxico, Ronald Wallace of Jefferson City; a daughter, Rosalie Dickey of Puxico; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 6-9 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Terry Stockman officiating. Burial will be in Ash Hill Cemetery.
