PERRYVILLE -- Talitha Flora Ochs, 95, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 22, 1902, at Farrar, daughter of Alvin and Frieda Schuessler Magwitz. She and Clarence G. Ochs were married June 13, 1928. He died Oct. 16, 1985...

PERRYVILLE -- Talitha Flora Ochs, 95, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 22, 1902, at Farrar, daughter of Alvin and Frieda Schuessler Magwitz. She and Clarence G. Ochs were married June 13, 1928. He died Oct. 16, 1985.

Ochs retired as a salesclerk at Mercier and Delauss Drug Stores. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Chancel Guild, Concordia Ladies Aid, and Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Survivors include a daughter, Earlene Eggemeyer of St. Louis; two sisters, Virginia Miget of Perryville, Leona Schlimpert of St. Louis; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
