Terry Dale Dalton, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 19, 1950, in Sikeston, Missouri. He and Glenda Basler were married May 10, 2002, in Las Vegas. Terry served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service 32 years. He was a member of VFW Post 3838, Eagles Aerie 3775 and Elks Lodge 639, all in Cape Girardeau. He was an avid Cardinals fan and loved sports. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family...

Terry Dale Dalton, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 19, 1950, in Sikeston, Missouri. He and Glenda Basler were married May 10, 2002, in Las Vegas.

Terry served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service 32 years. He was a member of VFW Post 3838, Eagles Aerie 3775 and Elks Lodge 639, all in Cape Girardeau. He was an avid Cardinals fan and loved sports. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Dalton of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kylee Dalton of Cape Girardeau; four stepchildren, Tonya Snell of Uniontown, Missouri, Jamie (John) Hearnes of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Ryan Johnston of Chandler, Arizona, and Chad Johnston of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren, Caitlyn, Triston and Hannah Snell, Joshua and Jackson Hearnes, Abby Johnston, Tyler Radford and Leanna Myers; and a sister, Sandy (Mike) Ott of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia "Tina" Dalton.

A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at VFW Post 3838, 1049 N. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
