DEXTER -- Terry Martin, 37, of Powe, drowned Sunday, July 16, 1995, in the St. Francis River near Campbell.

He was born Dec. 30, 1957, in Okolona, Miss., son of Manley Bruce and Susie Newby Martin.

Martin lived in Southeast Missouri the past 20 years. He was a farm laborer.

Survivors include a son, Terry Martin Jr. of Campbell; three daughters, Rachel and Ashley Martin of Campbell, Susan Martin of Massachusetts; five brothers, Bobby Martin of Essex, Bruce Martin of Parma, Jimmy Martin of Risco, Earl Martin of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, and William Martin of Shannon, Miss.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
