Thelma A. Wade, 94, of Jackson -- beloved mother, wife and friend -- passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, at her home in the loving care of her family.
She was born June 21, 1925, in Amelia, Virginia, to Earl and Clara Blackburn Ward.
Survivors include her sons, Charles (Judy) Wade, Wesley (Janet) Wade and Robert (Maria) Wade; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a sister; a niece; two nephews; and many great-nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Will E. Wade; parents; a granddaughter; two infant granddaughters; brother; niece; and nephew.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Jackson. The Rev. Brian Anderson will officiate the service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials are suggested to Crossroads Fellowship Church Sidekicks Ministry for Children or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
