GLENNONVILLE, Mo. -- Thomas Martin Wicker, 88, of Glennonville died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at Three Rivers Healthcare South Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Adamsville, Tenn., son of Henry and Nola McDaniel Wicker. He and Agnes Heck were married Sept. 16, 1938. She died May 21, 1995. GLENNONVILLE, Mo. -- Thomas Martin Wicker, 88, of Glennonville died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001, at Three Rivers Healthcare South Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Adamsville, Tenn., son of Henry and Nola McDaniel Wicker. He and Agnes Heck were married Sept. 16, 1938. She died May 21, 1995. He and Delphine Mattingly Petry were married Nov. 27, 1996, at Glennonville.

Wicker was a farmer and a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sue Wilson of Foley, Ala.; four stepdaughters, Dorothea Hirtz of House Springs, Mo., Marilyn Kuhn of Hermann, Mo., Charlotte Bruce of Qulin, Mo., Sandra Woods of Poplar Bluff; two stepsons, Dallas Petry of Glennonville, and Harold Petry of Sunset Hills, Mo.

Also surviving are six brothers, C.G. Wicker of Ironton, Mo., Ernest Wicker of North Little Rock, Ark., Hayes Wicker of St. Peters, Mo., Vernon Wicker of Cahokia, Ill., Herschel Wicker of Sulphur, Okla., Ronnie Wicker of St. Louis; five sisters, Alice Vornburg of St. Louis, Evelyn Alexander of Saltillo, Tenn., Ruby Lence of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Velma and Zelma Tucker of Dexter, Mo.; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; 24 stepgrandchildren; 35 great-stepgrandchildren; and five great-great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo., after 5 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa Church. The Rev. Glenn Eftink will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
