Tina Kaufman

ORAN, Mo. -- Tina Diane Sander Kaufman, 62, of Oran passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, Jan. 17, 2022.

She was born March 26, 1959, in Cape Girardeau to Clarence Fred and Evelyn Marie Cotner Sander. She and John Edward Kaufman were married Feb. 18, 1978, at Four Square Gospel Church in Cape Girardeau.

Tina operated an in-home daycare for many years. She loved her kiddos, and they loved Ms. Tina.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, John Kaufman of Oran; son, Travis (Jamie) Kaufman of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter, Chelsea Marie Kaufman of Oran; sister, Angie (James) Whitfield of Scott City; stepmother, Judy Sander of Oran; and three grandchildren, Gabriella, Gage and Cord Kaufman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Teresa Marie Sander.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 26 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
