Todd William Roth, 45, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at his home.

He was born Jan. 31, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, to Robert and Betty Mae Birk Roth.

He and Karen Glick were married April 21, 1995, at Glendale Presbyterian Church in St. Louis.

Todd was a proud Eagle Scout. He worked as a registered nurse. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; a daughter, Megan Roth; and a son, Taylor Roth, all of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Betty Mae Roth of Cape Girardeau;, a brother, Timothy and wife Betty Seesing Roth of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Terri and husband Mark Roberts of Chesterfield, Mo.; his mother-in-law, Audrey Glick of St. Louis; a brother-in-law, Russell and wife Kim Glick of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and nephews Jason, Matthew and Gregory Roberts, Ethan, Ryan, Collin and Kameron Glick; and a niece, Caroline Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Roth; his father-in-law, Gary Glick; and a sister, Victoria Roth.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating.

Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Roth Children's Education Fund; Crown Hospice; Trinity Lutheran School, 55 N. Pacific St., Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63701; or Trinity Lutheran Boy Scout Troop 8.
