CHAFFEE -- Tommy Lee Thomas, 72, of Chaffee, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1992, at the Missouri Veterans Home. He was born Jan. 21, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, son of Charles Rufus Thomas and Susie Brandenburg Thomas. He married Peggy Kittle of Cape Girardeau on Nov. 14, 1940. She survives...

CHAFFEE -- Tommy Lee Thomas, 72, of Chaffee, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1992, at the Missouri Veterans Home.

He was born Jan. 21, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, son of Charles Rufus Thomas and Susie Brandenburg Thomas.

He married Peggy Kittle of Cape Girardeau on Nov. 14, 1940. She survives.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the VFW Post No. 3127.

Other survivors are one son, Tommy Alan Thomas, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Ina Thomas, Oklahoma City, Donna Anselm, Willow, Ala., and Velda Strack, Jackson; two brothers, Frank Thomas, Brosely, and Charles Thomas, San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Ellen Harmon, Salem, Ill.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. Friday. Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Maurice Eagan officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
