ADVANCE, Mo. -- Troy Duane Lingle, 63, of Advance passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at his home.

He was born June 21, 1950, at Bonne Terre, Mo., son of Troy Albert and Rosetta Humphreys Lingle. He and Gail Brown were married Dec. 19, 1970, at Arnold, Mo.

Duane was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era.

He was a member and deacon of Zalma General Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.

Survivors include his wife; mother, Rosetta Lingle of St. Louis; a son, Matthew Lingle of Louisiana; three daughters, Cassandra Solomon, Jacklyn Lingle and Elizabeth Lingle, all of Zalma; two sisters, Terry Allan of Jefferson City, Mo., and Ann Lange of Arnold; and two grandchildren, Joshua Lingle and Colton Solomon.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, with full military rites to be conducted.
