MARBLE HILL -- V. Paullean Boren, 73, of Glenn Allen, formerly of East Alton, Ill., died Friday, April 3, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 24, 1924, at Advance, daughter of Fred and Irene Myers Fowler.

She married John W. Boren at Jackson, Miss., Aug. 4, 1949. He survives.

She was a member of the 12th Street Presbyterian Church in East Alton.

Survivors include a son, Rod Boren of Orange, Calif.; two daughters, Brenda Feltes of Fosterburg, Ill., and Debbie Keeton of Wood River, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Diana Menke of Elgin, Ill.; brother, Freddie Fowler of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Liley Funeral Home Chapel in Marble Hill, with the Dr. John Englehart and Thurman Propst officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m.
