Vanita H. Bell, 76, of 838 Rodney Vista died Friday, Aug. 11, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born May 6, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Joseph and Francis Simpher Logel. She married Russell Bell Sept. 26, 1946, in Cape Girardeau.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish. She had been owner and operator of Vanice Beauty Shop.

Survivors are her husband; three sons, Charles R., William and Michael Bell, all of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Bernice May, Marybelle Edwards and Marilyn Logel, all of Cape Girardeau; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. A parish prayer service will be at 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church by the Rev. Milton Ryan. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery.
