Verla M. Wooldridge

Verla M. Wooldridge, 94, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Benton, Missouri, died June 6, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 27, 1919, in Benton to John E. and Iva Lincoln Mayfield.

She married Harold S. Wooldridge on Sept. 4, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2014.

Verla sold antiques. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

She is survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Wooldridge; four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Baptist Cemetery.
