KELSO, Mo. -- Viola Marie Gosche, 90, of Kelso died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Kelso, daughter of William and Regina Leible Reinagel. She and Ervin Louis Gosche were married Aug. 29, 1945, at New Hamburg, Mo. He died Sept. 23, 1974.
Mrs. Gosche had been a housekeeper at St. Augustine rectory and also worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6407, Daughters of Isabella and St. Ann's Quilting Club.
Survivors include two sons, Mick (LaDonna) Gosche and Bobby Gosche of Kelso; a grandson, Bryan (Kathi) Gosche; a great-granddaughter, Kayle Gosche; a stepgrandson, Chad Schlosser; and two great-stepgrandsons, Logan and Drake Schlosser.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Parish prayers will be at 7, and Knights of Columbus service at 7:15.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Revs. Oliver Clavin and James Seyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
