Funeral for Viola J. Nicholson of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Dr. Derek Staples will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Nicholson, 57, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at Heartland Care Rehab Center.

She was born Jan. 12, 1944, at Maryland Heights, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Viola Annaul Brown. She and Kenneth Nicholson were married Aug. 3, 1991, in Cape Girardeau. He died Aug. 14, 1999.

Nicholson had been a hostess at Holiday Inn.

Survivors include a daughter, Eva Yeager of Cape Girardeau; three sons, William, Donald and James Yeager, all of Cape Girardeau; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
