ZALMA -- Violet G. Pack, 76, of Zalma died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Greenbrier, daughter of Marvin and Opal Camren Abernathy. She and Jeff Pack were married Jan. 18, 1941, in St. Louis.
Pack was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church, member and past worthy matron of Zalma Order of Eastern Star Chapter 509.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Daniel Pack of Anaheim, Calif.; a daughter, Darlene Mouw of Norwalk, Calif.; two brothers, Bill Abernathy of Advance, Denver Abernathy of Bridgeton; a sister, Ruth Walk of Puxico; a half brother, Mike Abernathy of Florissant; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a half brother.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today, with Eastern Star rites at 7.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Bill Sargent and James Johns officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
