Virginia E. Fenimore, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Ratliff Care Center. She was born March 11, 1920, in Allenville, to Fritz Frederick and Myrtle E. Withers Bohnsack. Virginia E. Fenimore, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Ratliff Care Center.

She was born March 11, 1920, in Allenville, to Fritz Frederick and Myrtle E. Withers Bohnsack. Virginia and Robert R. Fenimore were married Sept. 2, 1939, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Aug. 31, 1985.

Virginia worked at Montgomery Ward, Dolly's Hat Shop and Roth's. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Methodist Women's Club and a lifetime member of the Democratic Women's Club. She was an avid Cardinals fan, supported her grandchildren in their activities and volunteered at the Missouri Veterans Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet Robert (Norman) of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mae Enke of Jackson; three grandchildren, Andy and Carrie Robert of Cape Girardeau, Justin Robert of Fort Worth, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Dalton Robert of Cary, N.C., Kennedy and Dylan Robert of Fort Worth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and two brothers, James and John Bohnsack.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be given to Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 N. Ellis St., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701; Young Life, P.O. Box 928, Cape Girardeau, MO 63702; or Southeast Hospice, 10 Doctors' Park, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.

The family would like to commend Ratliff Care Center for their tremendous care and loving kindness to Virginia.
