ANNA, Ill. -- Vivian Burd, 78, of Anna died Friday, March 9, 2001, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 26, 1922, at Olmsted, Ill., daughter of Byron and Clara Shelton. She and Herman E. Burd were married. He died in 1988.

Burd was a former resident of Olmsted, where she was a member of the United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Club.

Survivors include two sons, Marlin Burd of Anna, and Darrell Burd of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Phyllis George of Olmsted; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill., from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday ath the funeral home. The Revs. David Shelton and Steve Wilkerson will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
