ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Vivian L. Stacy, 89, of St. Charles died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at NHC Health Care in St. Charles.

She was born Jan. 27, 1921, in Nimmons, Ark., daughter of Louie and Rosie Shipley Irby. She and James D. Stacy were married Sept. 4, 1944. He preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1989.

Stacy was retired from Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee, Mo., where she worked as an order filler. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Chaffee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include two sisters, Francis Pullum of St. Charles and Lois Reese of O'Fallon.

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Chaffee. The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Poe officiating.

Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
