MILLERSVILLE -- Vonnie U. Jones, 92, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 9, 1907, in Biehle, daughter of Christopher and Barbara Fulbright Eddleman. She and Tony W. Jones were married Aug. 7, 1925. He died Dec. 7, 1969...

MILLERSVILLE -- Vonnie U. Jones, 92, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 9, 1907, in Biehle, daughter of Christopher and Barbara Fulbright Eddleman. She and Tony W. Jones were married Aug. 7, 1925. He died Dec. 7, 1969.

She was a member of the Millersville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include four sons, Eugene Jones of Jackson, Freeman Jones of Farmington, Alan "Rack" Jones of Millersville and Ronnie Jones of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Harley Eddleman and Rodney Eddleman, both of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Enid Breen of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Ganied Ryan of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
