W. DEAN VANDIVER

W. Dean Vandiver, 85, of Stuart, Fla., died Friday, Nov. 19, 1993, at Martin Memorial Hospital South.

He was born in Columbia, and attended the University of Missouri.

Vandiver moved to Stuart nine years ago from Long Boat Key, Fla. Prior to retiring, he was co-owner 25 years of Pure Ice Co. here. He was active in Southeast Missouri State University Boosters, was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and United Way in Cape Girardeau, and attended First United Methodist Church in Stuart.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; a daughter, Genie Buchanan of Stuart; a sister, Frances McClaren of St. Louis; three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart was in charge of arrangements.
