Funeral service for Wesley Ulrich of Twin Falls, Idaho, was held Aug. 13 at White Mortuary Chapel in Twin Falls, with Wayland McClellan officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls.

Ulrich, 92, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997, at Birchwood Retirement Estate.

He was born Feb. 23, 1905, in Cape Girardeau, son of Fritz and Emma Ulrich. He and May L. Swaim were married Feb. 9, 1924, at Benton.

Ulrich was a lifelong printer. He began work at age 13 at the Southeast Missourian Newspaper, where he worked 26 years. He moved to Twin Falls in 1944 where he worked at the Twin Falls Telegram and later at The Times-News, retiring in 1967. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Wanda Voss of Redmond, Wash.; seven sons, Wesley Jr. and Jean Ulrich of Bellingham, Wash., James Ulrich of Vancouver, Wash., Jerry Ulrich of Las Vegas, Nev., Joe Ulrich of St. Louis, John Ulrich of Twin Falls, Jay Ulrich of Lewiston, Idaho; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
