WILLARD MCCANN
JONESBORO, Ill. -- Willard L. McCann, 74, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at his home. He was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Cobden, son of Paul Willard and Bertha Messamore McCann. He and Laura Arlene Cavaness were married March 28, 1945, in Paducah, Ky. She died Jan. 1, 1997...JONESBORO, Ill. -- Willard L. McCann, 74, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at his home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Cobden, son of Paul Willard and Bertha Messamore McCann. He and Laura Arlene Cavaness were married March 28, 1945, in Paducah, Ky. She died Jan. 1, 1997.
McCann had served as an alderman in Ward 1. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cobden, Teamsters Local 600, and Anna Moose Lodge 1346.

Survivors include a son, Paul McCann of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
