Wilma Hermina Stephan, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 21, 2010, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Chaffee, Mo., daughter of Mike and Frieda Koelzer LeGrand. She married Leo J. Stock on Jan. 14, 1943, in Kelso, Mo. He preceded her in death May 6, 1971.

She married Steve Stephan on Dec. 12, 1981, in St. Louis and he preceded her in death on July 24, 2001.

She had worked as a secretary at Boeing Aircraft in St. Louis and moved to Saxony Village in 2002. She was also a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Knights of Columbus 6420, ladies auxiliary and the Lutheran Home auxiliary.

Survivors include six nieces and nephews, Kenny (Cindy) LeGrand, Randy (Nancy) LeGrand, William (Pam) LeGrand, Keith (Julie) LeGrand, LaDonna (Mick) Gosche and Deanna (Blair) Brown.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marie Reeves; and a brother, Ervin LeGrand.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
