WINIFRED L. DALTON

JACKSON -- Winifred L. Dalton, 77, of Chesterfield died Friday Nov. 11, 1994, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield.

She was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Switzer County, Texas, the daughter of Lee and Mabel White Slagle. On May 16, 1939, she married John Dalton, who survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Jim L. Dalton of Chesterfield, and John W. Dalton II of Parkville; a brother, Arthur Slagle; and a sister, Dorothy Williams of Texas.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

She worked for Trans World Airlines for 25 years, was active with the Retiree's Club and was a member of the Normandy United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be at the Drehmann-Harral Chapel, 7733 Natural Bridge Road in St. Louis from 1-7 p.m. today.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. Visitation will precede the service, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bob Mordt will officiate, and the Rev. Otto Steinhaus will assist.

Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
