MILL CREEK, Ill. -- Funeral for Yvonne Land of Mill Creek will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro. The Rev. Raymond Oxford will officiate, with burial in Valley Mission Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.

Land, 59, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at her home.

She was born April 2, 1938, in Clovis, N.M., daughter of Claude and Lois Penick Gibson. She and J.P. "Jade" Land were married July 9, 1958, in Clovis.

Land was a member and former worthy matron of Eastern Star Lodge in Elgin.

Survivors include her husband; two sisters, Bess Metowski of Maryville, Calif., Judy Williams of Ottawa, Kan.; and a brother, Claude Gibson of Lakewood, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
