PERRYVILLE -- Zelma Erwin, 74, of Perryville, died Thursday, May 16, 1996, at her home. She was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Perry County, daughter of Andrew and Cora Preston Erwin. She and Ardell J. Erwin were married July 18, 1942. He died June 14, 1995...

PERRYVILLE -- Zelma Erwin, 74, of Perryville, died Thursday, May 16, 1996, at her home.

She was born Feb. 8, 1922, in Perry County, daughter of Andrew and Cora Preston Erwin. She and Ardell J. Erwin were married July 18, 1942. He died June 14, 1995.

Survivors include a son, Preston Erwin Sr. of Perryville; two daughters, Sharon Foster and Joan Pridemore of Perryville; a sister, Grace Statler of St. Louis; three brothers, Wilbert and Albert Preston of St. Louis, Champ Preston of Perryville; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
