PULASKI, Ill. -- Zelma Harris, 75, of rural Pulaski died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill.

She was born Aug. 17, 1926, at Colts, Ark., daughter of Willie Ray and Estella Gowder Pettigrew.

She was a member of Cypress Grove Baptist Church in Perks, Ill.

Survivors include her husband, Allen; a daughter, Sandra Morris Clemons of Mounds, Ill.; two sons, Michael Morris of rural Pulaski and Leon Morris of Cairo, Ill.; four sisters, Hazel Blackmore and Ida Burris of Cairo, and Novella Nesbitt and Vivan Morris of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Kimbel Pettigrew of Chicago, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Massie Funeral Home in Cairo.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Praise and Worship Center in Pulaski, with Enloe Clemons officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Garden in Villa Ridge, Ill.
