ZILLA BUEHLER

ADVANCE -- Zilla L. Buehler, 98, of Advance died Wednesday, May 27, 1998, at Advance Nursing Care Center.

She was born Aug. 31, 1899, in Bollinger County, daughter of David and Susan Eaker Shiverdeck. She and Joseph D. Buehler were married Aug. 24, 1915, at Glen Allen. He died Dec. 3, 1971.

Buehler was a cook at Mutts Cafe 20 years. She was a member of Berrong General Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Lasters of Norwalk, Calif., Mary Talley of Gipsy, Betty VanGennip of Advance; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, a sister, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Richard Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy.
