Dear Southeast Missourian staff:

On behalf of all the members of The Paw Staff at Schultz Middle School, I am writing to let you know we sincerely appreciate your help and kindness with producing our newspaper.

I have learned many things this year about newspapers, and I know it takes a lot of money to produce them. Without the kindness of your staff, The Paw would most likely not exist. The Paw Staff knows that it takes a lot of time and extra work to produce our paper, and we're glad that you're willing to devote some of your time to 24 seventh graders when you have a whole city to produce papers for daily.

Everyone has been a great help, yet some people stand out. We would like to give special thanks to Judi Naeter who takes time out of her busy schedule to take messages and deliver things for us. I would like to give special thanks to Judy Arnold who has had to put up with me for the last few issues and also make many last-minute changes on our layout. Without her help, who knows what the paper would look like.

I definitely can't leave out Mr. Fred Lynch who helps put the pictures in the paper. Without him and all the photographers at the Missourian, half the students wouldn't even look at the paper. The Paw Staff would also like to thank all of the typesetters in the Composition Department and the printers at the plant.

This year The Paw won All-Missouri and many other awards. In my personal opinion, The Southeast Missourian should receive an award, too!
