This letter was sent to Dickey Nutt, men's basketball coach at Southeast Missouri State University:On behalf of the entire city of Cape Girardeau, I want to personally thank you and your team for bringing pride and dignity back to the Show Me Center.

Cindy and I were honored to be asked by Frank Cuervo to sit on the court for Saturday's "Show Me Sell Out Game." Coach, let me just tell you that while the outcome obviously wasn't what you wanted, you won on so many other fronts. The attitude and perseverance of your players was truly remarkable, and they are to be commended.

Additionally, your postgame comments on the microphone were riveting. You absolutely stopped everyone in their tracks and delivered one of the most sincere, classiest speeches I have ever heard.

Again, congratulations on a great night, and the foundation is clearly set for a successful future.
