Concerts have not been the only attraction at the Show Me Center lately. Last week, the Southeast Missouri State University basketball program hosted a coaches clinic with University of Kansas basketball coach Bill Self. Along with Self, Saint Louis University assistant coach Porter Moser, former Scott County Central High School coach Ronnie Cookson and Southeast coach Dickey Nutt also spoke. One-hundred and twenty people attended the daylong clinic.

Other recent events have included the AND1 Streetball Tour and the mixed martial arts fight.

Cape Girardeau is blessed to have the Show Me Center to consistently bring top-notch entertainment and special events to Southeast Missouri.
