Rubber bullets

I would like to Speak Out about our government, the way they gave guns and live bullets to the Mexican cartels, but to Marines in Lebanon where our ambassadors got killed, they got rubber bullets. If they had bullets they could have protected the ambassador, but our brilliant president who's never been in battle gave our boys rubber bullets.

Solution?

Everyone keeps talking about Romneycare or Obamacare and how bad it is, and complain about poor people going to the emergency room for care. And if you ask how they would fix things, all you hear is a dead silence.

Obama, Bush

I think Obama should have another four years to straighten things out because Bush had eight years to screw things up.

Medicare fraud

Reading about the Medicare fines over hospitals readmitting patients. I can tell you how a nursing home does this. Medicare will pay for 30 days in the nursing home; so they'll transfer that patient to another wing that is not Medicare paid, and after a certain amount of time they'll move them back to Medicare. So its one big way to defraud the public.

Karl Rove

Why would anyone trust Karl Rove to tell us the bad things about the Republican Party? I know he's going to say the bad things about the Democratic Party, that's what he does.

Disgusting ads

I'm so glad someone else called in about the disgusting ads and their sexual content. The sexual content of TV has gotten out of hand. I can't watch shows with my children anymore. What do you expect of a society that lets this happen?

Tax cuts

Now that the Bush tax cuts are about to expire, it is exposing two lies the major media has been telling for years. First is they really were not the Bush tax cuts. They were passed by Congress and signed into law by Bush, just like the Constitution tells us they are supposed to be. The second lie is they were always called "tax cuts for the rich." The truth was the tax rate decreases and most of the money was for the middle class. Everyone knew it, but the media lied so much we believed it. It was for the middle class, and now we know the truth.

Casino, students

The university has problems now with underage drinking and driving scooters without helmets. Wait until the casino opens.

Landlord ordinance

I would like to comment on the city ordinance that landlords have to follow. I believe that it is a great idea. I rented a place and the place was full of mold because the landlord would not clean it up. I think it's a good thing the city has done this to ensure people are living in a clean place. I'm glad the city passed that.

Wage slaves

Unless globalization is in some way modified, the middle and working class in the U.S. will be reduced to little more than indentured servants, if not right out wage slaves.
