Unsafe drivers

In regard to the person who didn't like the idea of Jefferson City getting older drivers off the road, I agree with getting all dangerous drivers off the road. For those who get a DWI, make it mandatory for a one-year revocation for the first offense. No loopholes, no plea bargains, period.

Obama's sequester

This is for the person making the snarky remark about conservatives, the sequester and the cancer clinics. You must be one of many low-informed voters that voted for Obama. If you had done your research, you would know that sequester was the White House and Obama's brainchild. All it would take is for Congress to send a bill to Obama to sign; that would allow the continuing treatment and use of these cancer drugs for cancer patients at these clinics. It is a proven fact Obama's goal is to make sure the public feels the hurt of sequester. He can stop it, but he does not want to.

Wrong comparison

I would like to comment about liberals trying to make gay rights the same as civil rights. How is an elderly black woman refusing to move from her seat on the bus the same as two men having relations in bed? How can they even compare. A person cannot change the color of their skin. A person of homosexual orientation can hide who they are. It's not the same. Orientation does not equal race.

Welfare state

I'm watching TV and seeing a report on teenage pregnancy. One mom has two children as a teen. The reason why is because our government is paying for these children having children. Many are doing it for the paycheck. It's been pretty well exposed. A single mother making $29,000 a year would have to make $64,000 if she didn't have the government paying for her pregnancy. We as taxpayers are paying these children to have children and are letting the guys get off the hook. They should have to pay for their own children.

GOP policies

The Republicans say they don't want dirty air or water but their policies say otherwise.

Congressional votes

Enough is enough. Why do you keep publishing congressional votes? To me, it's an "in your face" reminder that those of us in the 8th Congressional District are, when it come to the House of Representatives, currently disenfranchised.

Roundabout, lights

If you can't negotiate a simple roundabout and need pretty lights to tell you how to drive, then you have no business driving.
