Catalpa trees

Look around the Cape Girardeau area this week. There's a large, wild tree with huge, heart-shaped leaves, and it's in full bloom, white blooms from the top to the bottom of the tree. They're beautiful trees given to us by God. And we call them catalpa.

Fix it

I would like to speak about the railroad crossing in Jackson by the train, at the train intersection. They worked on it, but it is a rough son of a you-know-what. So they need to overhaul that intersection railroad track and do something, please. It is very rough.

Obama voted

Somebody called in and said to lay off Hillary Clinton because she didn't do anything like Bush did when he invaded Iraq. But I want to remind them that Hillary Clinton and then-Sen. Barack Obama voted to invade Iraq and that war, so it wasn't just Bush himself. Bush couldn't declare war on anyone, unless he had the backing of Congress.
