We are grateful that these brave men and women, who put their lives on the line and do a job that the majority of us would not do, perform their jobs with courtesy and respectfulness to our citizens, just as do the vast majority of police officers across our nation. ...

We are thankful that our sheriff put "In God We Trust" on the county vehicles. We are grateful that these brave men and women, who put their lives on the line and do a job that the majority of us would not do, perform their jobs with courtesy and respectfulness to our citizens, just as do the vast majority of police officers across our nation. Since they do a job that is increasingly dangerous because of increasing lawlessness and disrespect for the law, these officers need the protection of God now more than ever. This attack on people of faith is getting really old. Why should those who trust God always have to cave in to the ever-demanding wishes of those who don't?

Radio, propaganda

They have a perfect right to do so. No one should challenge that. Still, it bugs me that local Cape public office holders and other members of the establishment are saturating the airwaves plugging a local radio station that broadcasts mostly talk-show programs whose hosts spew often similar but sometimes distinct variations of disgusting right-wing propaganda.

Emails

And the pot thickens. All these liberals are swearing that Clinton has done nothing illegal regarding her emails, but now the person who helped set all this up pleads his 5th Amendment rights? And the liberals say he has the right even though Hillary really hasn't done anything wrong. I may be very simple minded, but if someone pleads the Fifth, doesn't that mean what he or she might say could incriminate them? Hmmmmmm.
