To the editor: State Sen. Peter Kinder correctly recognizes that private firms are more efficient than government. But why limit private concerns to cleaning and operation of prisons? Why not privatize government itself, if non-government entities operate so much more efficiently? Or better yet, why have government at all? Much of the security in this country is already handled by private firms. Why not all of it?...
