What makes your business unique?
Sarah Hickey: We want to improve the hearing and communication of all. We also assist patients that have dizzy or balance problems. We pride ourselves in service and personal attention to each patient that enters our doors.
What do you like about doing business in a small town?
SH: I love doing business in a small town because it allows me to get to know my patients more personally. I also found it interesting how many paths intertwine in a small community. I also enjoy having a referral system that I know personally and I can have complete confidence that the patient will continue to get the needed treatment.
What was your biggest success in 2012?
SH: In 2012 our business came under new management. It was a well-established audiology clinic founded by Dr. Linda M. Hurt. In October, Dr. Hurt decided to pass her torch to me. I have over 10 years experience in audiology. I hope to continue to run a successful clinic to serve the needs of hearing impaired as well as patients with impaired balance systems.
