The WiFi connection is now fully operational around the building and there have been some significant changes.

1) The access points have been moved to their own dedicated internet connection. This was done to eliminate the problems we've had recently with slow internet performance caused by the WiFi traffic.

2) It is no longer restricted and anyone can connect with just the password below. Users will no longer have to submit an OTIS request to add a new device to the WiFi.

3) The access points have been moved around to improve signal and coverage where it will be used the most. This includes the break room, accounting, and Rustmedia, where users have previously reported signal problems. Consequently, this move has created a "dead zone" near the front door of Concord/Rustmedia, but that area is covered by the Conference Room WiFi.

4) Access to internal systems from the WiFi is restricted. This is primarily a consequence of being on a separate internet connection, but also to ensure we don't have a repeat of the previous internet problems. We ask that anyone who needs access to internal systems over WiFi consult with Brad or Mike St. Charles for instructions.

5) Even though the WiFi is now more accessible, use of the connection is still subject to the policies in the Employee Handbook. These are the Computer Software Policy, Use of Communications Systems, Cell Phone and Mobile Device Usage, and E-mail sections on pages 15 & 16 (Nov. 2012). Please see HR if you need to review these policies before connecting.
