ANNIVERSARY: SCHWEERS MARK 50 YEARS

JACKSON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. George Schweer of Jackson celebrated their 50th anniversary with a dinner Feb. 24, 2001, at Emanuel United Church of Christ.

Hosts were their daughters.

Schweer and Ruth Noland were married Feb. 22, 1951, at Zion Methodist Church in Old Appleton, Mo., by the Rev. M.O. Eisenhauer. Their attendants were Betty Schweer Baxter and Harold Noland, sister and brother of the couple.

Their daughters and families are: Pam and Tom Schulte, daughters Sami and Janna, and grandson Hunter; Kathy and Gary Turner, sons Josh and Ben; and Cheri Bodenstein, son T.J. and daughter Shelly.
