He is the son of Kathleen Golden of Grafton, Ill., and the late Edward Golden. Mrs. Golden is the daughter of Billy and Jerline Dicus of Cape Girardeau.
Golden has been employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital almost 30 years. Mrs. Golden has been a volunteer at the hospital almost 20 years, and is a student at Southeast Missouri State University.
They have two children, William Golden of Cape Girardeau and Jennifer (Matthew) Skelton of Perryville, Mo.
