The Excelsior Optimist Club of Cape Girardeau will hold an informational meeting for its girls basketball league Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom on the Southeast campus.

If your church, school or community sponsored group would like to participate in the league, please send a team representative to the organizational meeting.

The league will have three divisions this year, ranging from 3rd through 8th grade. The league will begin Jan. 9 and run for eight weeks.
