AREA GOLF: HOLES-IN-ONE

Ted Plunk sank his first ever hole-in-one this past week at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Plunk performed the feat with a 7-wood on No. 16, a 180-yard par 3.

* Sis Winkler used a 7-wood to ace No. 18 at Kimbeland Country Club, a 108-yard par 3.

Witnesses to the shot were Bill Winkler, Tom Boudinot and Jackie Boudinot.

* Cliff West carded his first hole-in-one on the No. 4 hole at Kimbeland Country Club.

West aced the 115-yard hole with an 8-iron. Witnesses to the shot were Bill Sullivan and John Kenner.
