Southeast soccer team travels to Arkansas

Southeast Missouri State University's women's soccer team will put its 2-0 record on the line today as the Otahkians face Arkansas in a 7 p.m. match in Fayetteville, Ark.

The Otahkians opened the season last weekend with two victories in the Southeast Labor Day Tournament, beating Indiana State 2-0 and Belmont 8-0.

Arkansas (1-1) lost to Washington State 4-1 and beat Portland State 3-2.

Following today's game, the Otahkians remain on the road to face Southwest Missouri State at 1 p.m. Sunday in Springfield, Mo.

SMS (2-0) has beaten Middle Tennessee 1-0 and Tennessee-Martin 4-0.

Southeast volleyball in Bradley Tournament

Southeast's volleyball team, coming off its first victory of the season, will have three matches this weekend in the Bradley Invitational in Peoria, Ill.

The Otahkians (1-3) defeated Arkansas State in four games Tuesday, led by Bobbi Carlile's 26 kills.

Southeast plays Bradley (1-3) at 7:30 p.m. today. Saturday, the Otahkians face South Alabama (1-1) at 1 p.m. and IUPUI (1-2) at 5 p.m.
